Deanna Stuart, CA
dstuart@numerisllp.caDeanna Stuart has over 20 years of public practice and industry experience. Her career began at a young age working in a family owned business. After completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Calgary, she articled for Grant Thornton LLP where she obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. Deanna was a financial analyst in the oil and gas industry as well as an assurance manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in the junior oil and gas sector and privately held businesses. As Chief Financial Officer, she started together with her husband, a successful custom home building and renovation company for which she managed all accounting, finance and tax planning matters. Deanna brings forth a broad range of experience and provides assurance, accounting and tax services to a wide range of companies including not for profit organizations.
Deanna is currently on the Board of Directors for the Calgary Foothills Soccer Club and plays an active role in her two son’s soccer teams.
Ryan Barrett, CA, CBV, CPA (IL, USA)
rbarrett@numerisllp.caRyan graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1998. Ryan articled with PriceWaterhouse Coopers and obtained his CA designation. Ryan then went on to work at a public real estate investment trust in the hotel and resort industry, managing the tax department. Subsequently Ryan went to work for an entrepreneur, focusing on the real estate industry, where he earned his Chartered Business Valuator designation (“CBV”) and completing the CICA Corporate Finance program. Ryan’s work consisted of valuation, taxation, financing and accounting. From working with the entrepreneur Ryan realized that owners of private businesses did not have the resources or financial means to have all their needs met by one Professional. Ryan joined a midsize accounting firm in 2009 specializing in US taxation, with a focus on providing full service accounting and advisory services to business owners. Ryan has also completed the CICA In-depth Tax Course and has obtained his Certified Public Accounting designation.
